The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
He (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The Chapter on the Command to Send Blessings upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Ahzab 33:56] From 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (may Allah be pleased with them both) Mishkat al-Masabih 657 Narrated by Muslim".
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his book *Riyad al-Salihin*, in the Chapter on the Command to Send Blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family): The command means the command from Allah the Glorious and Exalted, which He sent. Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, selects messengers from the angels and from among people. Allah the Glorious and Exalted creates what He wills and chooses. And Allah the Glorious and Exalted knows best where to place His message, so He placed the best of the messages in Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and He concluded the prophethood with him, so there is no prophet after him. Whoever claims to be a prophet after the Messenger of Allah is a disbeliever, and whoever believes him is also a disbeliever, due to the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Ahzab 33:40] And Allah the Exalted commanded the sending of blessings upon His Prophet and peace upon Him, so He said: [Al-Ahzab 33:56] So Allah the Exalted began by informing about Himself and His angels that they send blessings upon the Prophet. And this verse, as you know, is in Surat al-Ahzab, in which Allah commanded His Prophet to fear Allah the Glorious and Exalted, and He revealed to him the greatest verse regarding the action of the Messenger (peace be upon him), saying: [Al-Ahzab 33:1] And Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said to him: [Al-Ahzab 33:37] When these great blows descended upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), Allah compensated for that with His saying: [Al-Ahzab 33:56] and with His saying: [Al-Ahzab 33:57] So these blows that descended from Allah the Exalted regarding the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) were compensated. And His saying: includes every angel in the heavens and the earth. Every angel in the heavens and the earth sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). And the meaning of the sending of blessings from Allah upon His Messenger is praising Him in the highest assembly, meaning that Allah praises Him and speaks well of Him.
Allah the Exalted said:
Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace.
