The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions:
He (may Allah have mercy on him) said, regarding the hadiths he transmitted in the chapter explaining what Allah has prepared for the believers in Paradise: "From Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The inhabitants of Jannah will eat and drink therein, but they will not have to pass excrement, to blow their noses or to urinate. Their food will be digested producing belch which will give out a smell like that of musk. They will be inspired to declare the freedom of Allah from imperfection and proclaim His Greatness as easily as you breathe.
Riyad as-Salihin 1880
Narrated by Muslim.
From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah the Exalted said: "I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever conceived. And if you wish, read: 'No soul knows what joy of the eyes We have hidden for them.'" Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
And from him, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The first group of people who will enter Paradise, will be glittering like the full moon and those who will follow them, will glitter like the most brilliant star in the sky. They will not urinate, relieve nature, spit, or have any nasal secretions. Their combs will be of gold, and their sweat will smell like musk. The aloes-wood will be used in their centers. Their wives will be houris. All of them will look alike and will resemble their father Adam (in stature), sixty cubits tall.
Sahih al-Bukhari 3327
Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
And in a narration by al-Bukhari and Muslim:
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "The first batch to enter Paradise will appear like the moon of a night that it is full, they do not spit, nor do their noses run, nor do they defecate. Their vessels are of gold, their combs are of silver and gold, their perfume is of Aluwwah, and their sweat is musk. Each one of them has two wives, so beautiful that the marrow of their shins can be seen through the flesh. There is no differing among them nor mutual hatred, and their hearts are like the heart of one man, and they glorify Allah morning and evening."

And from al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said:
Moses asked his Lord: Who amongst the inhabitants of Paradise is the lowest to rank? He (Allah) said: The person who would be admitted into Paradise last of all among those deserving of Paradise who are admitted to it. I would be said to him: Enter Paradise. He would say: O my Lord! how (should I enter) while the people have settled in their apartments and taken the shares (portions)? It would be said to him: Would you be pleased if there be for you like the kingdom of a king amongst the kings of the world? He would say: I am pleased my Lord. He (Allah) would say: For you is that, and like that, and like that, and like that, and that. He would say at the fifth (point): I am well pleased. My Lord. He (Allah) would say: It is for you and, ten times like it, and for you is what your self desires and your eye enjoys. He would say: I am well pleased, my Lord. He (Moses) said: (Which is) the highest of their (inhabitants of Paradise) ranks? He (Allah) said: They are those whom I choose. I establish their honour with My own hand and then set a seal over it (and they would be blessed with Bounties) which no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no human mind has perceived
Sahih Muslim 189b
Narrated by Muslim.
And from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
I know of the last of the inhabitants of the Hell to be taken out from there and the last one to enter Jannah. He is a man who will come out of the Fire, crawling on all fours. Allah, the Rubb of glory and honour will say to him: 'Go and enter Jannah.' He will go to it and think that it is full up. He will then come back and say: 'O my Rubb, it is full up.' Allah will say to him: 'Go and enter Jannah.' He will again go to it and think that it is full up. So he will turn back. Allah will again say: 'Go and enter Jannah. For you have what is equal to ten times the world.' He will say: 'Are You making fun of me while You are the King?" At this I (i.e., the narrator) saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) laugh till his premolars were visible and he said, "Such man will be the last dweller of Jannah in its lowest rank."

The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
These hadiths are numerous; the author (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned them in his book *Riyad al-Saliheen* in explaining the bliss of the people of Paradise:
Among them is that the first group to enter Paradise will be in the likeness of the moon on the night of the full moon. This is the first group and the best of the groups. It is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
That the first of the people of Paradise to enter are this Ummah, then those who follow them, like the brightest star in the sky.
: meaning like the brightest star in the sky, and those who follow them according to their ranks.
And in it is also:
That the people of Paradise eat and drink, but they do not urinate, defecate, blow their noses, or spit.
: because all their excretions are not like the excretions of the people of this world. Their excretions come out as sweat, meaning like perspiration, more fragrant than the scent of musk, and as belching, more fragrant than the smell of musk, because they are in abiding bliss.
Then he also mentioned the lowest of the people of Paradise in rank and the highest of them, and all of this indicates the excellence of this bliss. We ask Allah to make us and you among its people.
As for the people of the Fire, may Allah protect us from it, they are the opposite of that. It is the right of an eye that hopes for Paradise not to sleep, and the right of an eye that fears the Fire not to sleep, because the enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better for one who fears Allah. But it is the wisdom of Allah the Mighty and Majestic, and a trial and test, that people in this world are as if nothing existed except the world, in the view of many people. It is as if they were created for it, even though the world was created for them. Indeed, man was created for the Hereafter; it is the abiding home that does not perish. So either in Hellfire and blazing flame, may Allah protect us from it, or in abiding bliss. We ask Allah for you and for us that we be among the righteous for whom Allah has prepared what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever conceived.
