The Ruling on Remaining in the Mosque for One in a State of Major or Minor Ritual Impurity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If entering the mosque is for a need, such as the call to prayer or something else?

Answer:
There is nothing wrong with it, but if the mu'adhdhin stands for a long time, resembling sitting, he should not come unless he has performed the full ritual bath, unless the call to prayer is outside the mosque, as it was in the minaret outside the mosque, or in a house outside the mosque, in which case the matter is easy. However, if he calls to prayer from a minaret inside the mosque that is attached to the mosque, the most cautious course is not to do so, even if he is standing and not sitting, because his standing resembles sitting; it is a standing of significance, so the most cautious course for him is also not to do so.
Then, it is recommended for him to be in a state of ritual purity; it is recommended for the mu'adhdhin to be in a state of ritual purity, so it is better for him to perform the full ritual bath before that. However, if time is tight for him, it is hoped that nothing is required of him, because he is not sitting, and it is a temporary standing. But the most cautious course for him is to make an effort, to perform the bath in advance, and to be cautious.
