Q: What is the ruling on one who enters the mosque while in a state of major ritual impurity?
A: If a person in a state of major ritual impurity enters the mosque merely to pass through, there is no blame on him for that. However, if he enters it to sit and stay there, this is not permissible; because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:[An-Nisa 4:43] and because of His saying
(peace and blessings be upon him):Sunan Abi Dawud 232Da'if (Al-Albani) narrated by Abu Dawud and authenticated by Ibn Khuzaymah . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
Q: What is the ruling on one who enters the mosque while in a state of major ritual impurity?
A: If a person in a state of major ritual impurity enters the mosque merely to pass through, there is no blame on him for that. However, if he enters it to sit and stay there, this is not permissible; because of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying or in a state of janabah, except those passing through [a place of prayer], until you have washed [your whole body]
I do not make the mosque lawful for a menstruating woman and for a person who is sexually defiled.
إني لا أحل المسجد لحائض ولا جنب
