What is the ruling on the collective recitation of the Qur'an in turns?

Question:
Recitation in turns?

Answer:
I know of nothing regarding it, I mean, as a group?
Q: Yes, as a group, this one recites a page, and this one recites a page?
A: There is no harm in it. As long as one person recites and the other recites, it is from the category of mutual study; just as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) studied with Jibril (peace be upon him).
Q: Who said: This is what is established from the Salaf?
A: No, there is no harm in it. Rather, this is what the Salaf used to do; they would mutually study the Qur'an. And in the authentic hadith: "No group gathers to recite the Book of Allah and mutually study it among themselves except that tranquility descends upon them, mercy envelops them, the angels surround them, and Allah mentions them among those who are with Him." Mutual study sometimes involves repeating what has been recited, and sometimes this one recites and this one recites.
