Ruling on delaying the Fajr prayer until after sunrise due to exhaustion

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He says: I sometimes sleep through the Fajr prayer. This listener, Muhammad Marzuq al-Masri, says: I sometimes sleep through the Fajr prayer and do not make it up until after the sun has risen because of exhaustion and fatigue, even though I set an alarm for the time and for the time of the adhan, but I did not benefit from it. So, is there a sin on me? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If you are overcome by your circumstances and are unable to do otherwise, then you owe nothing; for Allah the Exalted says:
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[Surat al-Taghabun: 16]. However, if you are being lax and sleeping through the night, then setting the clock is not sufficient; because if you fall asleep from being weak and exhausted, you will not hear it.
It is obligatory for you to take the measures that help you to get up, such as going to bed early and setting the clock for the time of Fajr, or assigning someone to wake you up if you have family who can wake you. You must take the measures. However, if you did the possible measures, exerted effort, and were still overcome, there is no blame on you
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacityلا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا
[Surat al-Baqarah: 286]. But if you delayed and did not sleep until the end of the night, this is a mistake on your part. You are sinful for this. We ask Allah for safety. Yes.

The presenter : O Allah, amen. May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
