Delaying the Fajr prayer due to illness

Fatwa number ( 20271 )
Q: I am a nineteen-year-old girl, and I suffer from varying episodes of epilepsy while sitting or standing. If I sleep for eight hours a day, I am free from this condition, by the permission of Allah, for a certain period that may last a week
or a month. My questions are: A - Should I pray while sitting, since falling to the ground often results in injuries to my face and parts of my body? 2 - If I sleep late at night and continue sleeping until I complete the eight hours, and the time for prayer passes, is this considered a dire necessity, and am I thereby excused? Knowing that I have left my studies to deal with this, so that I stay awake until I perform the Fajr prayer in its time, then sleep until the time for the midday prayer, especially since our family circumstances often make it impossible for me to regulate my sleep time.

A : If you are unable to stand, you pray while sitting; based on the hadith of 'Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them both), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him:
offer prayer in standing condition; if you are unable to do so, then in sitting condition: if you are then at your sideصل قائمًا فإن لم تستطع فقاعدًا فإن لم تستطع فعلى جنب، فإن لم تستطع فمستلقيًا
Sunan Abi Dawud 952Sahih (Al-Albani)
, and it is obligatory for you to pray the prayer in its time; based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times.إِنَّ الصَّلاَةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَابًا مَوْقُوتًا
[An-Nisa 4:103]
. And if you sleep, it is obligatory for you to take the measures that wake you for prayer.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
