Treatment for one who finds it difficult to read the Qur'an correctly

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
It is difficult for me to read the Qur'an, and I do not know how to read some of the words. Is there any blame on me for that? And is it obligatory for me to read the Qur'an?

Answer:
It is prescribed for you to read and strive, and not to rush until you become familiar with the words that are difficult for you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in an authentic hadith:
One who is proficient in the Qur'an is associated with the noble, upright, recording angels; and he who falters in it, and finds it difficult for him, will have two rewards.الماهر بالقرآن مع السفرة الكرام البررة، والذي يقرأ القرآن وهو عليه شاق، ويتتعتع فيه له أجران
Sahih Muslim 798a
So you should seek reward from Allah, be patient, and not rush. Look at the word until you know it. If it is easy for you to read to your brother, or your father, or one of your sisters so that you learn and benefit, that is good.

The intended meaning : It is prescribed for you to read, and to strive until you improve your recitation, and until some of the hesitation is removed from you. If it is easy for you to read to someone who is better than you and more knowledgeable than you, from among the mahram relatives, or some of the women, that is good. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
