Ruling on prolonging prostration in the obligatory prayer for the purpose of supplication

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it valid to prolong prostration in the obligatory prayer and others so that we may have the opportunity to make supplication?

Answer:
There is nothing wrong with it, but if one is an imam, it should not be burdensome for the people. The length should be such that it considers the avoidance of hardship, seeking to follow the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in his prostration, which includes saying "Subhan Rabbi al-A'la" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High) multiple times, and making whatever supplication is easy without prolonging it to the point of burdening the people. As for if one is praying alone, the matter is broad in that regard. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
