Question:
He says: How can he maintain the fear of Allah, and specifically the prayer? May Allah reward you with good.
Answer:
He must strive against his self; he is required to engage in this struggle. Allah the Exalted says: [Al-'Ankabut: 69]. Therefore, one must strive against the self and Satan; so that he performs the prayer in congregation, so that he maintains it, so that he keeps the company of the righteous, and so that he stays away from what Allah has forbidden. One must strive against the self, and beware of obeying desires, Satan, and bad companions. Whoever strives and is patient, Allah will guide him and help him.
