The ruling on one who divorced his wife while not committed to Islam

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The question: A listener from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan says: I am (A. A.) from the Arab Republic of Egypt, Fayoum Governorate. I ask you this question: A man who was not committed to the rulings of Islam divorced his wife many times. He has sons and daughters, and she is still in his marriage bond. He has now repented to Allah and returned to adhering to Islam. What is the ruling on those divorces, given that he was not holding fast to the teachings of Islam?
The answer: He should appear before the Sharia court in Jordan, the court of personal status, or before some of the scholars there, such as Shaykh Muhammad Ibrahim Shuqara Abu Malik, or other well-known scholars, or before Shaykh Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani, the distinguished scholar. He should explain what occurred on his part in the presence of his wife and her guardian. They will issue a ruling, if Allah wills, on what the pure Shari'ah requires. This requires knowing the reality of the situation, and the acknowledgment of the reality by his wife and her guardian, or their contradiction of it. It is necessary for the scholar to look into that. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
