Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner, Hamad Abdullah, a Sudanese resident of al-Ghurmah, inquires about the noble verse in Surat Taha:
(124) And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind." (125) He will say, "My Lord, why have you raised me blind while I was [once] seeing?" (126) [Allah] will say, "Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten."
[Taha: 124- 126], saying: Does this verse apply to every person who neglects the remembrance of Allah? Please inform us of this.

Answer:
This is a severe warning for whoever turns away from the remembrance of Allah and from His obedience, and thus does not fulfill the right of Allah. This is his recompense: his livelihood will be straitened, even if he has much wealth and abundance. However, Allah will place straitness in his livelihood due to the tightness, difficulty, and hardship that occur in his heart. The presence of wealth will not benefit him; he will be in difficulty and hardship because of his turning away from the remembrance of Allah and from the obedience of Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He). Then he will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection blind.
The point is that this applies to whoever turns away from the obedience of Allah and from His right (Exalted and Majestic is He), and does not care about the command of Allah, but rather commits His prohibitions and leaves His obedience (Exalted and Majestic is He). This is his recompense. We ask Allah for safety. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
