The Miqat of Ihram for Those Coming from Sudan

Question:
With Allah’s blessing, we begin this session with a question from one of our brothers from Sudan. He says: “Your Eminence, we have often encountered this issue regarding the spatial miqat of ihram. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) designated specific spatial miqat for every direction of the earth. We in Sudan are not assigned a specific spatial miqat among those designated. So, from where should we enter ihram, whether we come by sea or by air? We were taught in school that we, the people of Sudan, enter ihram from Jeddah. Is this correct? If it is incorrect, from where should we enter ihram? May Allah reward you.”
Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance. As for what follows.
It is authentically established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he designated the five well-known miqat for the people of all regions. In the two Sahihs, from the hadith of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), he said: AndSahih al-Bukhari 1522 which is known today as Abi Araq and is known today as Rabigh, the location of Rabigh today Sahih al-Bukhari 1845 which is called Wadi Qarn, and some of the common people call it As-Sayl is also known. And in the narration of Aisha and a group: .
These are five miqat about which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the hadith of Ibn Abbas:.
So, Dhul-Hulaifah is for the people of Medina and those who pass by the road of Medina. Al-Juhfah, and now people enter ihram from Rabigh, a little before it, is the miqat for the people of Sham, Egypt, the Maghreb, and Sudan, all of them from this miqat. So, the miqat for the people of Sudan is Al-Juhfah. If they pass by it by sea route or by air route, they enter ihram. Unless they come by the road of Medina, in which case they enter ihram from Abi Araq, from Dhul-Hulaifah. Or if they come by the road of Najd, they enter ihram from the miqat of the people of Najd, Wadi Qarn (As-Sayl). Or if they come by the road of Yemen, from Yamlamul. Or if they come by the road of Iraq, from Dhat Irq.
As for Jeddah, it is not a miqat except for its own people. Jeddah is a miqat for its residents. As for the other regions, it is not a miqat for them. However, some of our brothers in Sudan claim that some routes from Sudan, if taken by sea, do not pass by Al-Juhfah but rather pass directly by Jeddah before Al-Juhfah. If it is verified that there is a sea route from Port Sudan or other ports of Sudan, and if it is verified that there is a route that does not pass by Al-Juhfah but passes by Jeddah first, passing by Jeddah first, then entering ihram from Jeddah is valid if this is true. Otherwise, it is known that the route of the sons of Sudan passes first by Al-Juhfah, which is now Rabigh, and likewise by air route.
So, the sons of Sudan should enter ihram from Al-Juhfah if they pass by it from the sea side, and likewise if they pass by it from the land side, unless they come by the road of Medina, in which case they enter ihram from the miqat of Medina, and so on for others. And so, the people of Egypt and Sham come and enter ihram from Al-Juhfah.
And so, the people of the Maghreb. As for the people of Iraq, from Dhat Irq, if they come by the road of Iraq. But if they go from Medina, the miqat is from Medina. Or from Yemen, from the miqat of Yemen. As for whoever is below that, whoever is in... for example, or in Al-Buhayrah, he enters ihram from his location, he enters ihram from his location. Yes.
