The Virtues of Reciting the Qur'an and Acting Upon It

Question:
The first message in this episode is from the Syrian Arab Republic, Raqqa Governorate. The sender of the message is our brother, listener: Musa al-Darwish ibn Daham. Our brother asks a collection of questions, and in one of them he says: Does the one who memorizes only Surat al-Baqarah be shaded by it on the Day of Resurrection?

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance. As for what follows.
It is established from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
The people of the Qur'an will be brought on the Day of Resurrection, those who act upon it. Surat al-Baqarah and Aal 'Imran will precede them, arguing on behalf of their owners on the Day of Resurrection, as if they were two clouds, or two banners, or two flocks of birds in rows, arguing on behalf of their owners.
.
This is an authentic hadith, and what has come in its meaning indicates that al-Baqarah and Aal 'Imran will argue on behalf of their owners, those who act upon the Qur'an, because he said:
With its people who act upon it.بأهله العاملين به
So the Qur'an is an argument for the one who acts upon it in its entirety; the entire Qur'an is an argument, and it is among the causes of the servant's happiness. Indeed, the Qur'an will intercede for him on the Day of Resurrection and it will intercede. Likewise, these two great surahs will argue on behalf of their owners who act upon them. If a man memorizes Surat al-Baqarah and acts upon it, it will also argue on behalf of its owner. And even if he does not memorize it, if he acts upon it, it is an argument for him and one of the causes of his entering Paradise.
So it is befitting for the believer to focus on practical memorization. If memorization is not facilitated, the important thing is action: that he reads, even if he looks at the mushaf, that he reads, pays attention, and acts. If memorization is facilitated, that is good upon good, and light upon light. But the most important of all this is action: that he reads the Qur'an and acts upon it, whether he memorizes it or not; it is an argument for him. Likewise, al-Baqarah and Aal 'Imran are an argument for him if he acts upon them.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
