Question:
Allah the Exalted said: And the wise Qur'an Indeed, you are among the messengers [Ya-Sin:1-3], so explain this verse to us, may Allah reward you with good?
Answer:
(Ya-Sin): This is among the disjointed letters with which Allah, Glorified is He, began a number of surahs, such as: (Alif-Lam-Mim - Alif-Lam-Ra - Alif-Lam-Mim-Sad - Ha-Mim - 'Ayn-Sad-Qaf). These are disjointed letters. The correct view among the scholars is that their specific meaning is not known, and Allah has in them a profound wisdom .
And some of them said: Allah made it a key to the surahs, just as He made (Praise be to Allah) a key to Surat al-Fatihah, and a key to Surat Saba and Surat Fatir, and He made (Glory be to) a key to Surat Banu Isra'il, He is the Wise, the All-Knowing, Exalted and Majestic is He.
As for His saying: (And the wise Qur'an), this is an oath from Allah, swearing by the Qur'an, as in Surat [Sad:1].
He, the Exalted, swears that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is among the messengers: “Indeed, you are from among the messengers.” He swears and takes an oath (Exalted and Majestic is He) that His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is among the messengers, as He, the Exalted, said: [Al Imran: 144], and He, the Exalted, said in Surat Muhammad: [Al Fath: 29]. So he is the Messenger of Allah, as Allah informed us in His Book, and He swore upon him . He is the Messenger of Allah by the consensus of the Muslims, by the consensus of the people of knowledge and faith from the people of the Sunnah and the community. He is the Messenger of Allah in truth. Whoever denies that is a disbeliever, and whoever says that he is a messenger for the Arabs only and not for the non-Arabs is a disbeliever. [Al A'raf: 158], and He, the Exalted, said: [Saba: 28].
He is the Messenger of Allah to the Arabs and the non-Arabs, the males and the females, the rulers and the ruled, the kings and the leaders, the jinn and mankind. He is the Messenger of Allah to all of them -peace and blessings be upon him-. Whoever responds to his call and follows his Shari'ah will succeed in happiness, Paradise, and honor. Whoever deviates from his path and follows other than his guidance will return in failure and regret, and will become among the people of the Fire on the Day of Resurrection. We ask Allah for safety. Yes.
