The position of a mother whose husband has passed away regarding sons who do not pray

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
She says: I have three brothers; the youngest is sixteen years old, and our father has passed away. My brothers do not pray, and my mother is exhausted from them, for she has done a great deal with them.

The Shaykh: Repeat, there is no power and no strength except with Allah.

The presenter: I have three brothers; the youngest is sixteen years old, and our father has passed away. My brothers do not pray, and my mother is exhausted from them, for she has done a great deal with them to advise them. What should my mother do? I ask you to pray for my brothers and for all Muslim youth for guidance? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
We ask Allah for their guidance and righteousness. We ask Allah to guide them and protect them from Satan. We ask Allah to help you and your mother in their struggle. It is obligatory to advise them and to strive to establish them in prayer. It is obligatory ... from them, even if the mother strikes them, or if she refers their case to the Commission for Promoting Virtue and Preventing Vice so that they may assist in that, because this matter is not to be ignored; this matter is serious.
So it is obligatory that they be advised and directed by the mother and others. If they reform, well and good; otherwise, their case should be referred to the Commission so that they may be punished with a deterrent punishment. We ask Allah for guidance for us and for them. We ask Allah to guide them and return them to the right path. Yes.

The presenter : O Allah, amen. May Allah reward you with good.
