The ruling on the prayer reciter saying: (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Allah) instead of al-Fatihah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
My second question is that I have seen some Muslims, when they pray, recite al-Fatihah in the first and second rak'ahs, followed by short verses. As for the remaining two rak'ahs, they recite in each one "Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest" three times. That is, they do not recite al-Fatihah in every rak'ah in the last two rak'ahs. Is this correct? May Allah reward you for clarifying the error and the truth for your Muslim brothers?
Answer: This is an error. The one who does not recite al-Fatihah in the third and fourth rak'ahs is making a mistake, and it is not permissible, and the prayer is not valid with that. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite al-Fatihah and another surah with al-Fatihah in the first and second rak'ahs, and in the third and fourth he did not recite anything other than al-Fatihah; he recited al-Fatihah. He may have recited more than al-Fatihah in the third and fourth rak'ahs, specifically in the Zuhr prayer, and this has been established from him (peace and blessings be upon him) in several hadiths, including the hadith of Abu Qatadah al-Ansari and the hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Ansari, and other hadiths. It is established in them that he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite al-Fatihah and more in the first and second rak'ahs, and in the third and fourth he did not recite anything except al-Fatihah (peace and blessings be upon him). However, there is evidence that he may recite more in the third and fourth rak'ahs, specifically in the Zuhr prayer. It is authentic from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
There is no Salat for the one who does not recite Fatihatil-Kitab.لا صلاة لمن لم يقرأ بفاتحة الكتاب
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 247Sahih (Darussalam)
Therefore, the one who does not recite it in the third and fourth rak'ahs has no prayer.
Therefore, it is obligatory for the one who sees someone doing this tasbih to refute him and teach him. And it is upon the sister in Allah, the questioner, to teach these people, saying: I heard in Nur 'ala al-Dirb such and such. Teach them that this is not permissible and that it is obligatory for the Muslim to recite al-Fatihah in all rak'ahs, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
There is no Salat for the one who does not recite Fatihatil-Kitab.لا صلاة لمن لم يقرأ بفاتحة الكتاب
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 247Sahih (Darussalam)
It is agreed upon that it is authentic. And based on his saying (peace and blessings be upon him) also in the authentic hadith:
Whoever prays a prayer in which he does not recite the opening of the Book, it is khudaj, it is khudaj, incomplete.من صلى صلاة لم يقرأ فيها بفاتحة الكتاب فهي خداج فهي خداج غير تمام
Sahih Ibn Hibban 7:171
meaning it is incomplete and not valid.
So the conclusion is that it is obligatory for the Muslim man and woman to teach and guide. So this questioner, may Allah bless her, she must teach those she sees doing this, those who do not recite in the third and fourth rak'ahs. Teach them that this is contrary to what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said and contrary to what the Muslims are upon. So it is obligatory for these people to recite al-Fatihah instead of the tasbih in the third and fourth rak'ahs, just as they recited it in the first and second. But in the first and second, the addition to al-Fatihah is emphasized, either a surah or verses, with details regarding the five prayers. But in the third and fourth, it is better to restrict oneself to al-Fatihah, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did, except in the Zuhr prayer, where it is recommended to recite more than al-Fatihah in the third and fourth rak'ahs at times. Yes. Because that was reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
