Ruling on breaking the fast in Ramadan due to the hardship of work and making up the fast on Fridays

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A very long question, summarized as follows, Your Eminence the Shaykh: He says: I broke my fast in Ramadan because I was doing hard work, and I ask about making up the fast specifically on Fridays?

Answer:
It is obligatory for the believer to complete the fast in Ramadan and not to break it because of work. If his work is hard, he does not do it; rather, he leaves the work until he performs the obligatory duty, or he does part of it, doing some work and leaving the work that causes him to break his fast:
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[al-Taghabun:16] Even if it is for a wage, he says to the employer: This is a day of Ramadan, so work in the days of Ramadan is less than in the days of breaking the fast; so that he combines between the two benefits, the benefit of fasting and the benefit of work. And Allah says:
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[al-Taghabun:16] As for breaking the fast because of work, no, this is abominable and not permissible, and he must make up the fast if he broke it. Making up the fast on days other than Friday is more preferable. He makes it up on Thursday and Friday both, not singling out Friday. This is the most cautious; because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade singling it out for fasting. He said (peace and blessings be upon him):
None of you should fast on Friday, unless he fasts together with the day before or the day after.لا يصومن أحدكم يوم الجمعة إلا أن يصوم يومًا قبله أو يومًا بعده
Bulugh al-Maram 5:41
And this is in voluntary fasting without doubt, but its generality may lead to the fear that singling it out for making up the fast is included.
So the most cautious for the believer is not to single it out. If he fasts on Friday for making up the fast; it is valid -if Allah wills- because he did not intend... voluntary fasting with it, but rather he intended making up the fast. But leaving it is more preferable, that he fasts with it on Saturday, or with Friday on Thursday in making up the fast, or in voluntary fasting. This is what is prescribed, and he does not single out Friday for voluntary fasting or for making up the fast. This is the most cautious and more preferable. Yes.
As for voluntary fasting, it is not permissible. It is not permissible to single out Friday for voluntary fasting ever. It is necessary that if he wants to fast, he fasts a day before it, or a day after it. And as for the obligatory fast, making up the obligatory fast, the most cautious is not to do it. If he did it; it is valid -if Allah wills- because he did not intend to single out Friday for voluntary fasting, but rather he intended to perform the obligatory duty that is upon him. But it is more cautious for him to fast on a day other than Friday, Thursday or Monday, or to add a day before Friday, or a day after it; so this is more cautious; because of his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt.دع ما يريبك إلى ما لا يريبك
Sunan an-Nasa'i 5711Sahih (Darussalam)
Yes.
