Ruling on making up a fast on Friday

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The first message in this episode is from a listener named Muhammad, Abu Abdullah, a Sudanese national residing in the Kingdom. Our brother has a question in which he says: I was in the desert during Ramadan and had to break my fast. After Ramadan, I completed the make-up fast on the fourth day of the festival, and that day happened to be a Friday. I did not know this because I was in the desert. Is my fast valid? And is there anything required of me?
May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance. As for what follows:
Your fast is valid because you did not intend to single out Friday; rather, you intended to make up what was due from you. So the fast is valid, and praise be to Allah. The prohibition applies to one who singles it out for voluntary fasting. It is established that he (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited singling out Friday for fasting, and he said:
None of you should fast on Friday, unless he fasts together with the day before or the day after.لا يصومن أحدكم يوم الجمعة، إلا أن يصوم يومًا قبله، أو يومًا بعده
Bulugh al-Maram 5:41
And you only intended to make up what was due from you. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
