The Effort to Not Forget the Noble Qur'an After Memorizing It

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner mentions that she is a girl who prays and fasts and has memorized thirteen parts of the Book of Allah. She says: "I am continuing to memorize it, if Allah wills, but I feel that I am forgetting it. However, if Allah wills, I will repeat the memorization and review a second time after memorizing it for the first time. If I die before the review, or before reviewing the Qur'an a second time, will I remember it on the Day of Resurrection, on the day when Allah says to the servant:
Recite, and rise up, recite (melodiously) as you would recite in the worldاقرأ وارتق، ورتل كما كنت ترتل في الدنيا
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2914Hasan (Darussalam)
? And will I be rewarded for memorizing it the first time if I forgot it, knowing that I am consistent in reciting the Noble Qur'an? May Allah reward you with good."

Answer:
If you strive to memorize it, exert effort in that, and do your utmost, then we hope for success for you in the Hereafter. However, if there is laxity and indifference, that is a great danger. But if the believing man and woman do their utmost to memorize the Book of Allah, and each of them exerts effort in that, then Allah, the Generous and the Noble, is the One who assists His servant, grants His servant success, and rewards him for his good deed .
So the advice is to be earnest in that and to strive for it, and Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, is the One who grants success and guidance, Exalted and Majestic is He.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, Your Eminence the Shaykh.
