The Ruling on the Farewell Tawaf

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it necessary for someone who stays in the Holy Makkah for a period of more than two months after Hajj to perform the Farewell Tawaf, and is there any obligation on him if he does not perform this pillar?

Answer:
If he intends to travel, he must perform the Farewell Tawaf. It is obligatory, it is obligatory, it is not a pillar, but it is obligatory. If he leaves it, he owes a sacrificial animal, which is slaughtered in Makkah for the poor, whether he stayed for a few days, a month, two months, or more. If he intends to travel, he performs the Farewell Tawaf, seven circuits around the House without sa'y, he performs seven circuits, and he prays two rak'ahs upon departure. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
None of you—meaning the pilgrims—should depart until his last visit is to the Houseلا ينفرن أحد منكم - يعني: الحجاج - حتى يكون آخر عهده بالبيت
May Allah send prayers and peace upon him... except for the menstruating woman and the woman with post-natal bleeding, if the time of travel coincides with her menstruation or post-natal bleeding, there is no Farewell Tawaf required of her.
