Question:
This questioner says, O Shaykh: that he is an illiterate man who cannot read or write, and he asks your Eminence to clarify for him some means of protection so that he may protect himself from the devil, and may Allah reward you with good?

Answer:
Strive to seek refuge in Allah from the devil. Say: “I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed devil” whenever any whispers or fears come to you.
I take refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He createdأعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق
Sunan Abi Dawud 3898Sahih (Al-Albani)
Repeat this when you are afraid.
I take refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He createdأعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق
Sunan Abi Dawud 3898Sahih (Al-Albani)

And when whispers are present: “I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed devil.” Repeat this, and this is among the causes of safety. And if you recite after Fajr
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[al-Ikhlas:1] and the two Mu’awwidhat three times, and after Maghrib likewise, this is also among the causes of safety.
The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) encouraged this, that a person should recite in the early morning:
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[al-Ikhlas:1] and the two Mu’awwidhat, and likewise after Maghrib
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[al-Ikhlas:1] and the two Mu’awwidhat three times. And if you recite them once after Zuhr, once after ‘Asr, and once after ‘Isha’, that is also recommended.
And when sleeping, you recite them three times; they are among the causes of well-being and safety. When sleeping, you recite them three times as well, along with the Verse of the Throne when sleeping. And likewise after prayer, you recite the Verse of the Throne; it is recommended, after the dhikr, meaning… after the prayer, and after the dhikr, yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
