Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 14549 )
Q 1: Sometimes Satan comes to me with certain thoughts, trying to make me doubt my creed, and I am shy to mention these thoughts. The question is: Will I be held accountable for this?
A 1: It is obligatory for you not to indulge in the doubts and whispers that Satan casts to make you doubt your Islamic creed. If they occur to you, seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. Allah the Exalted said:[Al-A'raf 7:200] If you stop these whispers and do not act on them or speak about them, there is no sin on you. It is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih Muslim 127a And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
