The ruling on the one performing tamattu' who removes his ihram garments before performing 'Umrah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner wrote in his own style, saying: I went to perform the obligatory Hajj last year, and I left from Dammam until I reached the miqat, and I entered the state of ihram from the miqat. When I arrived at the House of Allah, I removed my clothes, meaning the ihram garments. I had intended to perform Hajj as a mutamatti', but I was ignorant of this matter. So one of my colleagues said to me: You are sinful, because you must perform 'Umrah before you remove your clothes, or the ihram garments. I asked some of the brothers, and they told me: Enter the state of ihram from the mosque at Tan'im, and perform 'Umrah. I did that, and I performed the obligatory Hajj. So, is my action correct, O honorable Shaykh?

Answer:
There is no blame on you, if you were forgetful, praise be to Allah. If you were forgetful or ignorant, there is no blame on you. And you did well when you performed the 'Umrah. But you did not need to go to Tan'im. If this happens out of ignorance or forgetfulness, one puts on the ihram garments, goes to the Ka'bah, and performs tawaf.
If a person enters the state of ihram from the miqat, then enters Makkah, then removes his clothes out of ignorance, removing the ihram garments out of ignorance, and then is reminded, he puts on the ihram garments in his place, in the house where he is, then he goes to the Sacred Mosque, performs tawaf, performs sa'y, and shortens his hair. There is no need to go to Tan'im. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
