Entering ihram from the miqat, then being forced to remove the ihram garments and wear sewn clothing, then returning and wearing the ihram garments again

The first question of Fatwa No. ( 17275 )
Q1: I reside in the Kingdom and I have a vehicle with which I transported some pilgrims to Makkah . I entered ihram from the miqat, but when I reached one of the entrances to Makkah , I was forced to remove the ihram garments and wear sewn clothing because I did not have a Hajj permit. After leaving the inspection area, I removed the sewn clothing and put on the ihram garments. What is the ruling on my action, and what is required of me?
A1 : You are required to pay an expiation for intentionally wearing sewn clothing while in the state of ihram. It is a choice between: slaughtering a sheep in Makkah to be distributed to the poor, or feeding six poor people in Makkah
half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) for each poor person, which is the amount of one and a half kilograms, or fasting for three days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
