The Ruling on Honoring a Guest Who Abandons Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This is a questioner for the program who sent a set of questions. The questioner, Ashraf, says in this question: What is the ruling on honoring a guest who abandons prayer?

Answer:
If a guest comes to you, even if he is a disbeliever, you should host him and invite him to Islam, just as the guests of the people of Ta'if, who were disbelievers, came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in Madinah. He housed them in the mosque, invited them to Islam, and honored them. They repented and embraced Islam, and praise be to Allah.
So if a guest comes to you and he is a disbeliever, you invite him to Islam and honor him in his hospitality, and you invite him to the religion of Allah, and you pray for his success. This is part of the excellence of Islam, the beauty of Islam, and one of the causes of entering Islam.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, O Shaykh.
