Slaughter of the 'Aqiqah for a Guest
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 6268 )
Q4: There is a man who bought amulets for his child intending to slaughter them after a day or two, wanting thereby to gather the neighbors around him, so a guest came to him
and he slaughtered one of them for him, and informed him that it was his child's amulet, and after that it was said to him: that it is not sufficient, and for example, if he had not told the guest that and the guest thought it was a favor for him, so in both cases, please inform us about them.
A4: The most likely ruling is that it does not suffice for him; because he made it a protection for his wealth, whether he informed the guest or not. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
