Ruling on marrying one's uncle's widow

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner asks: What is the ruling on my marriage to my uncle's wife after his death and the completion of her waiting period?

Answer:
There is no harm... there is no harm in marrying your uncle's wife. You may marry your uncle's wife or your brother's wife if he dies or divorces her and she completes her waiting period. The one who is forbidden to marry is your father's wife, or your grandfather's wife, or your son's wife, or your grandson's wife; do not marry her, as she is a mahram (a relative one may not marry). As for your brother's wife, if he divorces her or dies, or your uncle's or maternal uncle's wife, if he divorces her or dies and she completes her waiting period, you may marry her. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
