The reward of patience in the calamity of losing children
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner, Umm Khalid, says in this question: What are the benefits of patience, does it have categories, and is a person rewarded if five of his children die in a road accident, three of whom are young and two are older, and how can a Muslim help himself to be patient? May Allah reward you with good.
Answer:
There is no doubt that calamities contain great good for the one who is patient and seeks reward from Allah. Allah the Exalted said: [al-Baqarah:155-156], and Allah the Sublime said: [al-Baqarah:157]. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih Muslim 918b In the authentic hadith: , they said: O Messenger of Allah! Or two? He said: , so the death of children is among the causes of their parents’ salvation from the Fire, if they are three or two or more than that.
So the point is that there is great reward and much good in patience with calamities, and in the death of children there is great good for their parents; indeed, that is among the causes of entering Paradise and being saved from the Fire. We ask Allah the Great to guide the Muslims and help them to all good. Yes.
The presenter: O Allah, amen. May Allah reward you with good.

Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.
If any servant (of Allah) who suffers a calamity says:" We belong to Allah and to Him shall we return; O Allah, reward me for my affliction and give me something better than it in exchange for it," ' Allah will give him reward for affliction, and would give him something better than it in exchange.
Whoever has three children die before they reach puberty, they will be a shield for him from the Fire.
Or two.
