Q9: If a traveler shortens his prayer and performs tayammum, is it permissible for him to perform one tayammum for all the obligatory prayers, or must he perform tayammum for every prayer?
A9: Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions... And to proceed: One tayammum suffices for him for more than one obligatory prayer, or for an obligatory prayer and a voluntary prayer, as long as he remains in a state of ritual purity and does not find water, according to the correct opinion of the scholars. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
