The ruling on the slaughter of what is called (the charity of the house)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The last question from our brother says: There are some people who slaughter an animal annually and call it the charity of the house. Is this practice prescribed, or not? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
I do not know of any basis for this, a slaughter, the charity of the house; we do not know of any basis for it. This is a religious innovation with no basis. If he wants to give charity, he should give charity to the poor without the charity of the house, hoping for what is with Allah. If he wants to slaughter every day and give to the poor, there is nothing wrong with that. As for the charity of the house, this is something with no basis; it is a superstition with no basis. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
