The questioner : A woman went for 'Umrah in Ramadan, so she entered the state of ihram from the miqat of Dhu al-Hulayfah in the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah with her brother, and when she was about to enter the mosque, her menstrual period started, so she stayed outside the mosque, and her brother continued his 'Umrah. She says: When he finished, we traveled and left Makkah for our country, knowing that I had not done any of the acts of 'Umrah. What should I do now? Am I still in the state of ihram? And is it obligatory for me to go immediately to Makkah to complete this 'Umrah? Please advise us, may Allah reward you.
The Shaykh : Yes, she is still in her state of ihram now, so she must avoid all the prohibitions of ihram, and she must go now immediately to Makkah to complete her 'Umrah.
And it is obligatory for a person not to delay asking the scholars, because the more he delays the question, the more he increases in sin, due to the saying of Allah the Exalted:[An-Nahl 16:43], look at this woman now, she remained for this period without asking about her condition, even though she may be married, and her husband may have intercourse with her while she is in the state of ihram, and this is a serious matter.
So it is obligatory for a person to ask first before he acts, and if it happens that he acted and then doubt arose in him, it is obligatory to hasten to ask.

So ask the people of the message if you do not know.
