What does a menstruating woman do during Hajj?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
You are asking Your Eminence—if you would be so kind—what a woman should do if she begins menstruating while in the Haram? During Hajj?

Answer:
If she menstruates, there is a distinction. If she began menstruating after the Tawaf, the Tawaf of Ifadah, her Hajj is complete, and she does not have to perform the Farewell Tawaf if she travels from Makkah while menstruating or in postpartum bleeding; the Farewell Tawaf is waived for her.
However, if she begins menstruating before she performs the Tawaf of Ifadah, she must remain until she performs the Tawaf of Ifadah. She stays in Makkah until she completes her Hajj with the Tawaf. It does not harm her if she stands at 'Arafah while menstruating or in postpartum bleeding, or if she stons the pillars while menstruating; that does not harm her. Nor does it harm her if she spends the night at Muzdalifah and in Mina in the same state.
Menstruation only prevents Tawaf. As for the other acts of Hajj, she may perform them while menstruating or in postpartum bleeding, and praise be to Allah. But she does not perform Tawaf, because Tawaf is a form of prayer. She does not perform Tawaf until she is purified. However, the Farewell Tawaf is waived for her if she encounters menstruation at the time of departure; the Farewell Tawaf is waived for her. This is based on the statement of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): "The people were commanded to make the House their last visit, except that this was made easier for the menstruating woman." A woman in postpartum bleeding is in the same ruling as her. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
