The Circumambulation of a Menstruating Woman

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 11855 )
Q1: Is it permissible for a menstruating woman to perform tawaf? I do not want a bare answer from you, because I know it, but I want the evidence. May Allah assist you and guide you to what He loves and is pleased with.
A1: Tawaf around the Ancient House is like prayer; it requires the same conditions as prayer, except that speaking is permitted during tawaf. Therefore, ritual purity is a condition for the validity of tawaf, so tawaf is not valid for a menstruating woman until she becomes pure, then performs ghusl. It is established in the two Sahihs that A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said:
We set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), mentioning nothing but Hajj, until we reached Sarif, when I began to menstruate. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me while I was weeping and said, "What is wrong with you? Perhaps you are experiencing post-natal bleeding." I said, "Yes." He said, "This is something Allah the Mighty and Majestic has decreed for the daughters of Adam. Do what the pilgrims do, except that you do not perform tawaf around the House until you become pure."
, and in a narration by Muslim:
Do whatever the pilgrim does. except that you should not circumambulate the House till you have washed yourself (at the end of the menses period).فاقضي ما يقضي الحاج، غير أن لا تطوفي بالبيت حتى تغتسلي
Sahih Muslim 1211i
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
