Question:
He asks about the method of tasbih after every prayer? May Allah reward you with good.
Answer:
The Sunnah after the obligatory prayer is to sayRiyad as-Salihin 1415 three times, after the Zuhr, 'Asr, Maghrib, 'Isha', and Fajr prayers. Sunan Abi Dawud 1512Sahih (Al-Albani) is the first thing the imam, the one praying alone, and the one praying behind the imam say; each one, when he says the taslim, says: Sunan Abi Dawud 1512Sahih (Al-Albani) before anything else; this is the first thing. Then the imam turns to the people; after this, the imam turns to the people and gives them his face.
Then the imam, the one praying alone, and the one praying behind the imam say:Muwatta Malik 20:131 once, or three times; all of this came in the Sunnah. Then he says after that: Sahih Muslim 594a meaning: the wealth of the one who is rich is from You. This is the Sunnah for everyone: the imam, the one praying alone, and the one praying behind the imam. After he says: Sunan Abi Dawud 1512Sahih (Al-Albani) he comes to this dhikr.
I repeat it:Muwatta Malik 20:131 and if he wishes, he adds: Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 18:172 or Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3429Da’if (Darussalam) all of this came in the hadiths. Muwatta Malik 20:131 And if he wishes, he says: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3553Sahih (Darussalam) And if he wishes, he says: Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 18:172 And if he wishes, he says: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3429Da’if (Darussalam) All of this came in the texts.
And he says after that:Sunan Ibn Majah 3885Da'if (Darussalam) Then he says: Sunan an-Nasa'i 1340Sahih (Darussalam) meaning: for Him is the worship; the religion means worship. Sahih al-Bukhari 6615 All of this was done by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) after every prayer, may Allah's prayers and blessings be upon him.
So the Sunnah for the imam, the one praying alone, and the one praying behind the imam is to say this, following the example of the Prophet (may Allah's prayers and blessings be upon him), after the Zuhr and 'Asr, and the Maghrib, 'Isha', and Fajr.
It is recommended to add ten times in the Maghrib and Fajr:Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3553Sahih (Darussalam) ten times, along with what is mentioned for the Fajr and Maghrib specifically; because it came from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he used to do that, ten times, saying: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3553Sahih (Darussalam) ten times, saying it as an addition after the Maghrib, and after the Fajr.
It is also recommended after all of this to say:Sahih al-Bukhari 843 thirty-three times, Sahih al-Bukhari 843 all of them thirty-three times; this is ninety-nine. Then he says after that to complete the hundred: Muwatta Malik 20:131 It is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: Bulugh al-Maram 2:217 This is a great virtue.
It is recommended for the believer, male and female alike, to come to this dhikr that was mentioned in full, the man and the woman alike. It is also recommended for everyone that each one say: Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar thirty-three times, and say with that at the end of it:Muwatta Malik 20:131.
It came in the authentic hadith: "When the servant says this; his sins are forgiven, even if they are like the foam of the sea." This is a great promise and a great virtue. The meaning is: if he does not persist in the sins. This forgiveness, other hadiths indicate that it is conditioned by not persisting in the major sins... in the disobedience, due to the saying of Allah the Exalted in His great Book: [Al-Nisa: 31].
So if the Muslim avoids the major sins, such as zina, theft, undutifulness to the parents, or one of them, drinking intoxicants, backbiting, talebearing, and the like of major sins... if he avoids them; Allah forgives his sins in his prayer, his wudu', his tasbih, and other forms of good. And this is the meaning of His saying, the Exalted: [Al-Nisa: 31].
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Mishkat al-Masabih 564.
It is also recommended for the believer, male and female, after every prayer, along with what was mentioned, to recite Ayat al-Kursi: [Al-Baqarah: 255] This is Ayat al-Kursi; it is necessary for the man and the woman, each one, to memorize it: [Al-Baqarah 2:255] meaning: the drowsiness. [Al-Baqarah: 255] The believer, male and female, recites it after every prayer, believing in what it indicates, and believing in what is in it.
It is also recommended to recite:[Al-Ikhlas 112:1] and the two Mu'awwidhat after every prayer. [Al-Ikhlas: 4] In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. [Al-Falaq: 5] In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. [Al-Nas: 6].
After every prayer, all of this is recommended, but he repeats it after the Maghrib and Fajr three times, after the Maghrib specifically, and the Fajr three times. He repeats[Al-Ikhlas 112:1] and [Al-Falaq 113:1] and [An-Nas 114:1] with the Basmalah in each one. It is recommended to recite them when sleeping as well: Ayat al-Kursi, and these three surahs when sleeping. He recites Ayat al-Kursi once, and he recites these surahs three times when sleeping. This is among the causes of safety and well-being from all evil. May Allah guide them all.

He asks about the method of tasbih after every prayer? May Allah reward you with good.
Answer:
The Sunnah after the obligatory prayer is to say
Astaghfirullah! Astaghfirullah! (I beseech Allah for forgiveness, I beseech Allah for forgiveness)
O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from you is As-Salam. You are blessed, O One of Magnificence and Generosity."
O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from you is As-Salam. You are blessed, O One of Magnificence and Generosity.
Then the imam, the one praying alone, and the one praying behind the imam say:
There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner. To Him belong the Kingdom and praise, and He has power over everything
There is no power nor strength except with Allah. There is no god but Allah, and we worship none but Him. His is the grace, His is the favor, and His is the good praise. There is no god but Allah, sincere to Him in religion, even if the disbelievers hate. O Allah, there is no one who can prevent what You have given, and there is no one who can give what You have withheld, and the wealth of the wealthy does not benefit him against You.
O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from you is As-Salam. You are blessed, O One of Magnificence and Generosity.
I repeat it:
There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner. To Him belong the Kingdom and praise, and He has power over everything
He gives life and causes death, and in His hand is all good, and He is over all things competent.
He gives life and causes death, and He is Living and does not die, in His Hand is the good, and He has power over all things
There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner. To Him belong the Kingdom and praise, and He has power over everything

There is no god but Allah alone, having no partner, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs the praise, He gives life and causes death, and in His hand is all good, and He is over all things competent.
There is none worthy of worship except Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs the dominion, and to Him is all the praise, He gives life and causes death, and He is Living and does not die, in His Hand is the good, and He has power over all things
And he says after that:
la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
There is none worthy of worship except Allah (SWT), and we worship none but Him, the source of blessing and kindness and the One Who is deserving of all good praise. There is none worthy of worship except Allah (SWT), and we are sincere in faith and devotion to Him
O Allah! No-one can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the fortune of a man of means is useless before You
So the Sunnah for the imam, the one praying alone, and the one praying behind the imam is to say this, following the example of the Prophet (may Allah's prayers and blessings be upon him), after the Zuhr and 'Asr, and the Maghrib, 'Isha', and Fajr.
It is recommended to add ten times in the Maghrib and Fajr:
None has the right to be worshipped by Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him belongs the praise, [He gives life and causes death,] and He has power over all things
None has the right to be worshipped by Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him belongs the praise, [He gives life and causes death,] and He has power over all things
It is also recommended after all of this to say:
"Subhana l-lah", "Al hamdu li l-lah" and "Allahu Akbar"
Subhana l-lah", "Al hamdu li l-lah" and "Allahu Akbar"

It is recommended for the believer, male and female alike, to come to this dhikr that was mentioned in full, the man and the woman alike. It is also recommended for everyone that each one say: Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar thirty-three times, and say with that at the end of it:

This forgiveness, other hadiths indicate that it is conditioned by not persisting in the major sins... in the disobedience, due to the saying of Allah the Exalted in His great Book:
If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will remove from you your lesser sins and admit you to a noble entrance [into Paradise].
The five [daily] prayers, Friday to Friday and Ramadan to Ramadan make atonement for what has happened since the previous one when major sins have been avoided.
It is also recommended for the believer, male and female, after every prayer, along with what was mentioned, to recite Ayat al-Kursi:
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence.
