The Ruling on Doubt After Completing the Obligatory Act

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our brother says: Last year I performed the obligatory Hajj, and I completed it perfectly—praise be to Allah. Upon my return, I felt that I had not completed the Hajj in the required manner, although, as I mentioned, I performed the rituals of Hajj and 'Umrah in the required form. Is anything required of me regarding this? We ask that you guide us. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
This doubt that arose in you after the completion of the Hajj, and your finishing of the Hajj, is from Shaytan. It is not to be considered, so you should not pay attention to it. Doubt after acts of worship, and after finishing them, is a matter that is disregarded, and it is from Shaytan. If this occurs to you, say: “I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan,” and do not pay attention to it. You—by the praise of Allah—have performed the obligatory duty and have exited from the responsibility. So praise Allah for that, and leave the whispers of Shaytan. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
