The Types of Intercession on the Day of Resurrection and For Whom It Is

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Intercession is specific to the Muslim community. As for Moses and Jesus, do they not intercede for their nations?

Answer:
Yes, but this standing is for everyone. This is the intercession for the standing and entering Paradise, which is for everyone.
As for the specific intercession, every prophet has an intercession. But on the Day of Resurrection, the people’s condition becomes severe: what will they do in their distress until judgment is passed among them? The first thing they do is go to Adam, the father of mankind, and Adam refers them to Noah, and Noah refers them to Abraham, and Abraham refers them to Moses, and Moses refers them to Jesus, and Jesus refers them to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He steps forward and intercedes for the people in the standing until judgment is passed among them.
The second great intercession is in Paradise. When the Reckoning is finished and only the entry of the people of Paradise into Paradise remains, they likewise seek intercession—the people of Paradise—for them to be directed to Paradise and for its gates to be opened to display their status and position. They come to Adam, then Noah, then Abraham... and so on, until it ends with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he intercedes for them to enter Paradise.
Q: Does the prophet who comes alone on the Day of Resurrection have an intercession?
A: No one followed him—we ask Allah for safety—whoever died or was killed has no intercession. They are all disbelievers.
Q: Regarding the intercession of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for the people of the Fire: do the remaining nations include in it?
A: Only the sinners of his community.
Q: Only his community?
A: Yes, his community.
Q: And do the other prophets also intercede?
A: Yes, they intercede for their nations, the righteous, the believers, and the angels.
Q: Regarding the first intercession, does the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) start with it?
A: Yes, for the people in the standing until judgment is passed among them, then for the people of Paradise until they enter it, and after that for those who entered the Fire to be taken out of it—the sinners—so he intercedes with many intercessions.
Q: Is the Pool before the Sirat?
A: The Pool is before the Sirat and before the Reckoning and the reward. The people come to it on the Day of Resurrection while they are thirsty.
Q: Regarding the first intercession, do the other prophets share in it with our Prophet Muhammad?
A: No, he is alone. He is the one who prostrates under the Throne, then praises Allah with praises, and then it is said to him: Raise your head.
