Ruling on Reciting the Qur'an Along with the Noble Qur'an Broadcast

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
In the conclusion of the letter from his brother Sharaf al-Din Abdullah al-Sayani from Yemen, he says: What is your opinion regarding following the Noble Qur'an from the Qur'an broadcast and reciting along with it while I am at work?
Answer: There is no harm in following the Qur'an from the Qur'an broadcast, but by listening, not by reciting. Allah the Exalted says:
So when the Qur'an is recited, then listen to it and pay attentionوَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ وَأَنصِتُوا
[Al-A'raf: 204]. So you listen and reflect on what the reciter is reading, and you benefit from it. As for reciting along with him; no, the Sunnah is to listen and reflect on what you hear so that you benefit from the speech of your Lord, Mighty and Majestic. But do not recite with the reciter; listen, this is what is prescribed. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
