Ruling on a menstruating woman sitting in the mosque to listen to lessons

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Finally, our sister asks and says: What is the ruling on going to the mosque to attend seminars and lectures if the woman is menstruating; in order to benefit from the lessons, which are often valuable?

Answer:
If she has a place near the mosque from which she can hear, near the mihrab, or on the side of the mosque, or at the back of the mosque, and she can hear, then there is nothing wrong with it.
As for inside the mosque, no; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
I do not make the mosque lawful for a menstruating woman and for a person who is sexually defiled.إني لا أحل المسجد لحائض ولا جنب
Sunan Abi Dawud 232Da'if (Al-Albani)
And he said regarding the one in a state of major ritual impurity:
except those passing through [a place of prayer]إِلَّا عَابِرِي سَبِيلٍ
[Al-Nisa:43] And he said to 'A'ishah when he ordered her to bring the mat from the mosque, she said:
I am menstruating. He said: Your menstruation is not in your handإني حائض، قال: إن حيضتك ليست في يدك
Sunan al-Bayhaqi 1:820
So he ordered her to pass through and take the mat from the mosque.
As for sitting, no. As for passing through for the one in a state of major ritual impurity and the menstruating woman, there is nothing wrong with it. As for sitting, no. But if she finds a place outside the mosque from which she can hear the lessons, then there is nothing wrong with it. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
