Ruling on Perfuming the Ihram Garments

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
In his final question, he says: At the miqat, I performed the ritual bath, applied perfume, and put on the ihram garments. I also sprinkled some perfume on the ihram garments before I made the intention for ihram, due to my ignorance. What is the ruling?

Answer:
In the future, do not do this. As long as you were ignorant, you owe nothing. But in the future, do not perfume the ihram garments; perfume only yourself. Do not perfume the izar or the rida, especially with something that has a color, like saffron or wares. As for other perfumes, the matter is easier, but leaving it is better and more cautious. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
And they should not wear anything that has been touched by (dyed with) saffron or Wars.لا تلبسوا شيئًا مسه الزعفران أو الورس
Sunan an-Nasa'i 2669
because they are perfumes that have a color and a characteristic. As for perfumes that do not have a color, leaving them is also more cautious; do not put them on the izar or the rida. The perfume should be on your head and body. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you, Your Eminence.
