What is the ruling on one who fasts ten days due to his inability to provide the sacrificial animal?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He says: I did not have the price of the sacrificial animal, so I fasted on the seventh, eighth, and eleventh days of Dhu al-Hijjah. After I returned, I fasted seven scattered days in the months of Dhu al-Hijjah and Muharram. Is there anything required of me regarding what I did? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Nothing is required of you if you were unable to provide the blood (sacrifice), praise be to Allah. However, it is better that the fasting be before 'Arafah—the three days. If that is not feasible, then it is in the days of Mina—the eleventh, twelfth, and thirteenth. As for the Day of 'Arafah, the Sunnah is to be not fasting on it. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
