What is obligatory for one who breaks the fast in Ramadan due to illness?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This female questioner, the mother of Mus'ab from Jordan, says: that she is a sick woman who has been ill for two years, and she did not fast the month of Ramadan for the past two years because she was unable to do so; this is because she takes medication three or four times a day, and this year has now arrived.
And she says: I am inquiring from your Eminence, and I am suffering from the same previous illness. Please inform me, may Allah reward you, what is required of me regarding fasting?

Answer:
Fasting is not obligatory for you if it is difficult for you; it is not obligatory. Because Allah the Exalted says:
and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other daysوَمَنْ كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ
[al-Baqarah: 185]. And if Allah grants you health, you make up the first two years, and this third year if Allah grants you health, yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you and bless you.
