What is the role of women in al-hisbah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the role of women in al-hisbah?

Answer:
Like men, women are like men; they have the duty of advice. Have you not heard Allah say:
The believing men and believing women are allies of one anotherوَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ
[Surat al-Tawbah: 71]? Then He said after this:
enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrongيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ
[Surat al-Tawbah: 71]... All of them. She has her obligatory duty with women, with her husband, with her children, with her neighbors, and with everyone she sees committing what is wrong, even if it is a man. If she sees a man on the road with something wrong, she should forbid it to him, or in the house: like her husband's brother, or her husband's uncle, or her husband's father, but with kind words, in a good manner, with an expression from which benefit is expected, just like a man. She should not say: "I am a woman, it is not my concern." She has her obligatory duty.
