What is the ruling on cutting hair for a woman?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
What is the ruling on cutting hair for a woman? Is it forbidden or not?
The Shaykh: Cutting hair is subject to detail:
If it is with the consent of her parents and her husband—if she has a husband—in a manner that does not involve imitating the disbelieving women, and the intention is merely to lighten the hair and adornment, then there is no harm. The wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cut their heads after his death (peace and blessings be upon him) to lighten them.
However, if it is for the purpose of imitating the disbelieving women, or imitating men, or for bad intentions; this is not permissible. Or for disobeying the husband, or for disobeying the parents, it is not permissible. But if it is by agreement with the parents, or with the husband—if she has a husband—in a manner that involves imitating the disbelieving women, there is benefit and adornment, without imitating the disbelieving women; then there is no harm, and no imitating men.
