The Most Hopeful Times for the Answering of Supplication

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
You also ask Your Eminence and say: What are the most hopeful hours for the answering of supplication? May Allah reward you with the best reward.

Answer:
The hours for the answering of supplication are multiple. Among them is: the last third of the night. Among them is: what is between the adhan and the iqamah. Among them is: prostration—during the state of prostration. Among them is: the end of the prayer before the taslim. All of these are among the hours for the answering of supplication.
Among them is: Friday, between the adhan and the end of the Friday prayer, between the final adhan when the imam enters [to deliver the sermon] until the prayer ends. This is among the times for the answering of supplication. Also, the end of the day on Friday, after the 'Asr prayer until the setting of the sun, is also an hour for the answering of supplication.
It is prescribed for the believing man and woman, when making supplication, to direct the heart toward the supplication and to be present with the heart during the supplication. If one is in a state of ritual purity and facing the qiblah, that is more hopeful for the acceptance of the supplication. We ask Allah for success for everyone.
It should be known that heedlessness during supplication is one of the causes of a supplication not being answered. Likewise, sins are among the causes of a supplication not being answered. Likewise, consuming riba (usury or interest) and consuming what is forbidden are among the causes of a supplication not being answered. Therefore, it is obligatory for every Muslim man and woman to be wary of everything that prevents a supplication from being answered, such as forbidden sins, other sins, and anything else that is a cause for a supplication not being answered, which Allah has forbiddensuch as riba (usury or interest), betraying trusts, and deception in transactions. All of this is called sins.
The point is that the general category of sins is among the causes of non-answering. And if the sin involves the oppression of people, such as betrayal and deception, then that is more severe in sin and more severe in the deprivation of the answering of supplication. We ask Allah for well-being. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
