Is it permissible for the one who made a vow to eat from it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A man vowed to Allah that he would slaughter ten sheep. When he slaughtered what he had vowed, he ate from two of them. Is his eating permissible or not? And if his eating is not permissible, does he have to slaughter two sheep in place of the ones he ate from?

Answer:
If he intended to eat from them, then he owes nothing. But if he did not intend to, he must pay the value of what he ate. He should buy meat from the market equal to the amount he ate and give it in charity. He is not required to slaughter two animals; he must pay the value of the meat he ate, whether it is a kilogram, half a kilogram, or whatever amount he estimates, and he should buy it from the market and give it in charity.
