What are the three entry points of Satan? And what is the evidence for them?
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is there evidence for the three entry points of Satan mentioned earlier?
Answer:
From the Qur'an, if you reflect upon it:
Anger: It is known that it is one of the causes of Satan. When Moses became angry, he threw down the tablets, and in them was the speech of the Lord (peace and blessings be upon him).
And heedlessness: Such as what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said: [Al-A'raf: 179], and He the Exalted said: [Al-Zukhruf: 36], meaning: and whoever is heedless.
As for desire: Its evidence is abundant—may Allah grant us well-being. He the Exalted said in His Noble Book: [Al-Najm: 23], and He the Exalted said: [Al-Qasas 28:50] (desires) [Al-Qasas: 50], may Allah grant us well-being, [Al-Naziat: 40, 41].

Answer:
From the Qur'an, if you reflect upon it:
Anger: It is known that it is one of the causes of Satan. When Moses became angry, he threw down the tablets, and in them was the speech of the Lord (peace and blessings be upon him).
And heedlessness: Such as what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said:
And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless.
And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful - We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion.
As for desire: Its evidence is abundant—may Allah grant us well-being. He the Exalted said in His Noble Book:
They follow not except assumption and what [their] souls desire
But if they do not respond to you - then know that they only follow their [own] desires
And who is more astray than one who follows his desire without guidance from Allah?
(40) But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, (41) Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge.
