From the Whispers of Satan

Question:
We then move on to a letter from a questioner who used the initials (S. M.), an Egyptian working in Riyadh. He says in this question: I committed a sin in the past, and praise be to Allah that I repented to Allah from this sin and returned to Him. But Satan constantly chases me and reminds me of this sin at all times, especially during prayer. Even though I have done many good deeds in the past, I do not remember any of them. This is a favor from my Lord that I do good deeds and forget them. What is the cure to get rid of thinking about this sin, O Shaykh? Praise be to Allah that it is not a major sin. Please guide me in light of my question?
Answer:
Praise be to Allah who granted you repentance. It will not harm you. This is from the harm of Satan and his whispers. The cure is to seek refuge in Allah from Satan, and to ask Allah to protect you from the evil of Satan and the evil of your own self, and to make you forget this matter, so that you do not occupy yourself with it, as long as you have repented with a sincere repentance. Indeed, Allah will forgive you for that.
This thinking about it during prayer and the whispering are all from Satan. So you must ask your Lord for well-being, seek refuge in Him from Satan, and persist in doing so. And Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) is generous and bountiful. Yes.
The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
