What is the obligation of one who has disbelieving workers?

Question:
What is the ruling if I have a servant who is a polytheist worshipping Buddha, or a Christian who says, "Allah is the third of three," and I do not refute him, nor do I call him to Islam, and he mixes with my sons? Please inform me and advise me, may Allah reward you?

Answer:
I heard the question! It is obligatory for you to remove him, and to terminate his contract, and not to keep with you either the Christian or the Buddhist. The Buddhist is more disbelieving than the Christian; the Buddhist is a polytheist and more disbelieving, and the Hindu is a polytheist and more disbelieving. It is obligatory for you to remove that, and to terminate their contracts, and to replace them with Muslims. There is no good in keeping these people with you, for they are evil for you in religion and in this world, unless Allah guides them to Islam, and they accept it from you, and you call them to Islam, and Allah guides them, and they accept; then there is no harm.
And beware of them, for their Islam may not be genuine. But accept their Islam, and call them to Islam. If they accept, then you have a great reward, and perhaps they will be sincere with monitoring and care. If you see in them signs of sincerity, and the appearance of evidence of accepting Islam, then this is a blessing from Allah upon you and upon them, and praise be to Allah. And with this, monitor them and observe them, so that you are not deceived by them, and they are liars.
