The Ruling on the Hadith: (The ink of scholars and the blood of martyrs will be weighed)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
This is a letter from (A. Kh. Kh.) from al-Sinan in al-Zulfi, in which he says: Is this hadith authentic? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The ink of scholars and the blood of martyrs will be weighed on the Day of Resurrection, and neither will outweigh the other," and he mentioned that the hadith is long, about six or seven lines?
Answer: We do not know of its authenticity; we do not know of the authenticity of this hadith. It appears to be among the fabrications, something fabricated by liars, and it has no basis. Rather, scholars have differed on this matter; some scholars preferred the ink of scholars over the blood of martyrs, and some said the opposite. Both have merit. The ink of scholars, with which they wrote knowledge and benefited people, has a status, and the blood of martyrs, which was shed in the cause of Allah, has a status. As for it being a hadith, it is not a hadith. Yes.
